An exciting new line of collectible 5.5\u2019\u2019 action figures is about to be launched on Kickstarter starting October 15, 2014! Paying homage to some of the most popular toys of the past, Eon Quest\u2122 is nevertheless a bold, new interpretation of a classic action figure format.<\/p>\n<p>A fresh, modern sculpting style is combined with swappable limbs, removable armor and accessories. Every figure will also include one of five unique mini-comics that, collectively, tell the story of the characters\u2019 first adventure.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m so incredibly excited to share this with everyone. I\u2019ve always loved the size and feel of the 5.5\u2019\u2019 figures I played with as a kid. Eon Quest is really designed to take the spirit of those old lines and channel it into something totally new,\u201d says creator Jon Wesley Huff. \u201cIt\u2019s not<br \/>\nnostalgia for nostalgia\u2019s sake. It\u2019s about taking a basic form, dusting it off, and re-forging it from the ground up to go in a new direction with it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Eon Quest Kickstarter will start on October 15, 2014 with an initial funding goal of $70,000. Series 1 will consist of five figures \u2014 Starbreaker\u2122, Uplink\u2122, Captain Wolfmoon\u2122, the Magmoid\u2122, and the Magmoid Captain\u2122. An exclusive Kickstarter-only variant of the Magmoid will be the first stretch goal add-on figure.
