paint scheme is pretty simple. Most of the figure is molded in a dark gray or light black color. There are some areas like his sternum and knees that have been given a light grayish green shading. A similar color was also applied to the spines that run down his back and tail. The claws also stand out from the dark body with their light brown dirty look. While still dark, his eyebrows have been given even more expression with a reddish brown.

<img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-27597" alt="shgz6" MonsterArts, Godzilla has a nice amount of articulation. His jaw, head, neck, shoulders, biceps, elbows, wrists, chest, hips, knees, ankles and feet are all either single or double ball joints. The tail itself is made up with thirteen segments, all connected with double ball joints. While some of these joints can be hindered by the figure’s sculpt, most of them are so close together that you can pull off a good range of poses.

<img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-27598" alt="shgz7" worst part of this figure is his lack of any accessory. I’m not really sure what the deciding factor is when it comes to adding an accessory or effects part, but I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect each new Godzilla to have their own beam effect. I mean, that’s kind of his main thing. A neat looking low FX Showa beam would have been pretty cool.

<img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-27599" alt="shgz8" that missing atomic breath, I really love this little figure. He looks fantastic standing in with my MonsterArts and my Revoltechs, which is a huge bonus. Hopefully he’s the first of many classic figures to come. Having all three versions of Mecha Godzilla standing together will be great, and don’t even get me started on the shrine I’ll have to build for Jet
