DCClassics.Com Asks:<\/strong><\/span> We are absolutely loving the Super Powers anniversary product debuted at NYTF! The carded figures in particular are gorgeous. Wanted to ask about how the figures will be held in place on the card. From the mock-ups will the figures be loose in the bubble to be “just like we remember” or will there be an inner tray like modern figures to better protect the product within?<\/p>\n

The plan right now is for them to be loose in the blister like the originals. But the cards will ship in a mailer box to protect them. <\/strong><\/p>\n

DCClassics.Com Asks:<\/strong><\/span> We can tell a lot of care went into the “Hal as Riddler” figure to get the tones on the limbs and the ? Placement just right, but then he’s still a brunette! Is there time to get the hair done in black to truly match the original?<\/p>\n

He will have black hair! The model in NY was a rushed hand painted sample.<\/strong><\/p>\n

DCClassics.Com Asks:<\/strong><\/span> It was great to see Wonder Woman in the Total Heroes line, but she looks like she’ll have a lot of unique sculpting instead of just being a the first part of a female buck for the line. Is this an indicator that the line will stay mostly male-centric?<\/p>\n

We can only take questions on the specific online figures in this Q&A. But we are excited the retail team developed a female buck which could ideally allow the online line to include females should it continue in 2015.<\/strong><\/p>\n

MOTUClassics.Com Asks:<\/strong><\/span> The armored figures in 2013-14 have had their armor “clasps” move from the back of the figure to under the arms. This has caused the production figures from last year to look bulked up in comparison to previous offerings. Is this change a method of saving production costs and nothing can be done or is it possible to move the clasps more toward the back again (like on 2010-2011 figures) to make for a nicer product. <\/p>\n

We are actively looking into finding way to move the clasps. But keep in mind it takes 12-16 months to initiate a physical change to product from when we receive fan feedback (due to the logistics of the toy process) so likely you will see this change reflected in late 2014\/early 2015 figures. <\/strong><\/p>\n
