{"id":26415,"date":"2014-01-08T01:14:12","date_gmt":"2014-01-08T07:14:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.itsalltrue.net\/?p=26415"},"modified":"2014-01-08T01:18:21","modified_gmt":"2014-01-08T07:18:21","slug":"vault%e2%80%b2s-top-ten-toys-i-didnt-even-review-in-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.itsalltrue.net\/?p=26415","title":{"rendered":"Vault\u2032s Top Ten Toys <br>I Didn\u2019t Even Review in 2013!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-26434 alignleft\" alt=\"201300n\" src=\"newsimages\/2014\/topten\/201300v.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"80\" \/>Today we&#8217;re looking at my Top Ten figures I didn&#8217;t even review this year.\u00a0 As with Noisy, there are different reasons why these figures didn&#8217;t make my review schedule.\u00a0 This probably wouldn&#8217;t surprise many of you, but he and I have similar buying habits.\u00a0 Sure he&#8217;s venturing into Hot Toys territory, while I&#8217;m more likely to import some crazy thing that happened to catch my eye.\u00a0 But when it comes to the top US companies we tend to buy a lot of the same things.\u00a0 So a couple of the figures on this list were reviewed by him instead, but they were just too good for me to not mention them here.<\/p>\n<p>This year also posed a challenge because there were a few high ticket items that I was really interested in (I&#8217;m specifically looking at you, giant green castle&#8230;).\u00a0 So choices had to be made and unfortunately I had to pass on a few great figures in order to afford others.\u00a0 But that doesn&#8217;t mean I won&#8217;t catch up eventually.\u00a0 So you&#8217;ll probably still see some of these reviews, they&#8217;ll just be a little retro.<\/p>\n<table align=\"center\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<th colspan=\"2\" align=\"center\" bgcolor=\"#ff0000\">Vault No. 10 &#8211; Marvel Legends: Rocket Raccoon!<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td bgcolor=\"#fb9696\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-26427\" alt=\"10\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.itsalltrue.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/10.jpg?resize=360%2C200\" width=\"360\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.itsalltrue.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/10.jpg?w=360 360w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.itsalltrue.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/10.jpg?resize=150%2C83 150w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.itsalltrue.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/10.jpg?resize=300%2C166 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 360px) 100vw, 360px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/td>\n<td align=\"left\" bgcolor=\"#fb9696\" width=\"360\">I was pretty excited for the return of Marvel Legends, but each consecutive month that seems to get replaced more and more with frustration.\u00a0 Finding any figure that isn\u2019t from wave one is nearly impossible around here.\u00a0 I think half of a Hit Monkey wave showed up once, and Rocket has yet to make his way to shelves.\u00a0 But his rarity doesn\u2019t dissuade my interest.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He\u2019s a great looking little figure and I always feel that twinge of jealousy every time I see Noisy\u2019s hanging out with the rest of his six inch brethren.\u00a0 Here\u2019s hoping Hasbro gets more of these guys out by the time the movie rolls around.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th colspan=\"2\" align=\"center\" bgcolor=\"#ff0000\">Vault No. 9 &#8211; Figma: Labrys!<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td align=\"left\" bgcolor=\"#fb9696\" width=\"360\">This is an odd one.\u00a0 Usually I\u2019m pretty quick to review my imports, and I think this may be the first Figma that I bought and haven\u2019t reviewed.\u00a0 You all know I love robo girls, and Figma\u2019s Aegis is one of my favorite figures of all time.\u00a0 So when Labrys (another character from the same series) was solicited, I preordered her immediately.\u00a0 Unfortunately she was done in a new scale and ended up being a head shorter than Aegis.\u00a0 While the figure itself is good, she looks terrible next to Aegis.\u00a0 This left a pretty sour taste in my mouth and I just lost interest in reviewing her.\u00a0 Poor girl.\u00a0 Maybe she\u2019ll get attention in 2014\u2026<\/td>\n<td bgcolor=\"#fb9696\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-26424\" alt=\"07\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.itsalltrue.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/07.jpg?resize=360%2C200\" width=\"360\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.itsalltrue.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/07.jpg?w=360 360w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.itsalltrue.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/07.jpg?resize=150%2C83 150w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.itsalltrue.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/07.jpg?resize=300%2C166 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 360px) 100vw, 360px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th colspan=\"2\" align=\"center\" bgcolor=\"#ff0000\">Vault No. 6 &#8211; Jurassic Park\u2019s Allosaurus!<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td bgcolor=\"#fb9696\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-26432\" alt=\"05\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.itsalltrue.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/05.jpg?resize=360%2C200\" width=\"360\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.itsalltrue.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/05.jpg?w=360 360w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.itsalltrue.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/05.jpg?resize=150%2C83 150w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.itsalltrue.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/05.jpg?resize=300%2C166 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 360px) 100vw, 360px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/td>\n<td align=\"left\" bgcolor=\"#fb9696\" width=\"360\">From robots to dinosaur toys!\u00a0 With the rerelease of Jurassic Park to theaters, Hasbro decided to cash in a bit by trotting out the old JP line again.\u00a0 But among all those old familiar repaints was a bit of new blood.\u00a0 A sub-line dubbed \u201cDino Showdown\u201d pitted dinosaur against human.\u00a0 These two new dino figures (Allosaurus and Pachycephalosaurus) had all new molds with a good amount of articulation.\u00a0 The humans are equally impressive being GI Joe repaints and coming with a bevy of accessories.\u00a0 But dino figures are best reviewed outside, so maybe this spring I\u2019ll schedule a little time for this cool two-pack.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th colspan=\"2\" align=\"center\" bgcolor=\"#ff0000\">Vault No. 4 &#8211; SH MonsterArts: Kiryu!<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td align=\"left\" bgcolor=\"#fb9696\" width=\"360\">With a lot of high ticket items coming out this year, and an unfortunate limit to my finances (Thanks, bills\u2026), I had to skip some figures in one of my favorite and consistently expensive lines:\u00a0 SH MonsterArts.\u00a0 While my plan is to eventually pick up all the kaiju, I still kick myself for having to miss a couple on release.\u00a0 Mechagodzilla 3, AKA Kiryu, is definitely one of those figures.\u00a0 Robot duplicates of the main monster always have a certain amount of coolness to them, but Kiryu is the first to look just as ferocious intimidating as the Big G himself.\u00a0 Throw in some amazing articulation and this figure has me drooling still.<\/td>\n<td bgcolor=\"#fb9696\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-26431\" alt=\"04\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.itsalltrue.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/04.jpg?resize=360%2C200\" width=\"360\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.itsalltrue.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/04.jpg?w=360 360w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.itsalltrue.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/04.jpg?resize=150%2C83 150w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.itsalltrue.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/04.jpg?resize=300%2C166 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 360px) 100vw, 360px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th colspan=\"2\" align=\"center\" bgcolor=\"#ff0000\">Vault No. 3 &#8211;
