Yes, it\u2019s finally happened.\u00a0 After years of fan demand we finally have a figure of Plundor the Spoiler! \u00a0But seriously, I do have to chalk this up as another figure I never expected to get made.\u00a0 MOTU can get pretty bizarre sometimes.<\/p>\n

\"plnd1\"<\/p>\n

Plundor is one of the more basic figures when it comes to sculpt.\u00a0 He\u2019s using the furry body that we see on figures like Carnivus.\u00a0 We\u2019ve also got the average looking gloves and Keldor boots.\u00a0 Plundor does have some new non-furry shorts with the more traditional He-belt though, which will definitely be a nice option for future figures.\u00a0 He also has a new piece of chest armor that sits around his shoulders.\u00a0 It\u2019s in the same shape from the Filmation episode, but the 4H have done a nice job adding designs and a circular bauble at the bottom.<\/p>\n

\"plnd2\"<\/p>\n

Plundor also has an all new head sculpt.\u00a0 Not quite as \u201ccute\u201d as the animated Filmation model, this new head has a scruffy and disturbing realistic look.\u00a0 The large yellow eyes really add to the creep factor too.\u00a0 Kind of reminds me of Judge Doom from Who Framed Roger Rabbit.<\/p>\n

Paint job is also pretty basic on this guy.\u00a0 Most of the body has been molded in a pinkish purple sherbet color.\u00a0 There\u2019s also some nice dark shading on the fur that brings out the sculpted lines, especially on his head.\u00a0 The reds and dark reds on the costume have also been highlighted with some metallic sheen, which always adds a bit of realism to the look (if that\u2019s even possible with a giant bunny).\u00a0 Continue to page 2…<\/a><\/p>\n

Articulation is the same as pretty much every other figure.\u00a0 Ball jointed head, swivel\/hinge shoulders and hips.\u00a0 There are swivels at the biceps, wrists, waist, thighs, and boot cuts.\u00a0 His elbows, chest, and knees are also hinged.\u00a0 The only noticeable difference with Plundor is that the head sculpt does limit the ball joint a bit, especially if you\u2019re trying to make him look down.<\/p>\n

Plundor comes with two accessories.\u00a0 First is the basic blaster rifle that we\u2019ve seen a few times now.\u00a0 This one\u2019s done in a nice dark gray silver and looks pretty good with any figure.<\/p>\n

\"plnd5\"<\/p>\n

Plundor\u2019s other accessory is a bit more exciting.\u00a0 It\u2019s Skeletor\u2019s magical axe from the Filmation episode \u201cThe Diamond Ray of Disappearance\u201d<\/i>.\u00a0 An axe with a crystal ball on top is a pretty crazy\/awesome idea for a weapon.\u00a0 I also like the idea of this being Skeletor\u2019s weapon after the double swords were destroyed but before he acquired the Havoc Staff.\u00a0 Definitely the best accessory of the two.<\/p>\n

Like him or hate him, this giant pink bunny is pretty much the embodiment of just how outlandish things in the series can get.\u00a0 Even with a minimal amount of new pieces, the figure turned out nicely and came with a great accessory for my animated Skeletor.<\/p>\n
