Before we get into the review, I\u2019ve got to mention that these figures just dropped last night on ToyFinity\u2019s store<\/a>.\u00a0 So if you like what you see here, head on over to their store to pick some up.\u00a0 You even get a free Explorer Mordle with every order!<\/p>\n

I came home tonight to find a little package from ToyFinity sitting on my doorstep.\u00a0 One of the nice things about being part of the Mordles fan club is that you get access to the store a week before it goes live for the general public.\u00a0 (A new year is starting soon, so don\u2019t forget to sign up if you like that early access!)\u00a0 I was definitely glad to see my box arrived just in time to pimp this newest drop.<\/p>\n

\"mdls5\"<\/p>\n

This drop includes three new factions:\u00a0 The Sect of Rand, bringing back the classic red body with new black paint apps.\u00a0 The Underworld: giving us black Mordles for the first time.\u00a0 Lastly there are the Explorers: a neat muddy brown with green highlights.<\/p>\n

\"mdls7\"<\/p>\n

What\u2019s even better about this drop is that you can now choose a variety of colors.\u00a0 Each individual little Mordle can be selected in eight different colors.\u00a0 Or if you\u2019re feeling adventurous, select a random pack and see what you end up with.<\/p>\n

\"mdls2\"<\/p>\n

Even though the color combinations are fun, I was really after the giant Imbalance of Blood vinyl Mordle.\u00a0 I saw this guy in the coverage from New York Comicon, and was pretty jealous of the fans that already picked one up.\u00a0 He only stands about four inches high, but he\u2019s definitely huge when compared to his tiny brethren.\u00a0 Kind of reminds me of a giant slime\u2026 Continue to page 2…<\/a><\/p>\n

The giant Mordle is modeled after the \u201cZerak\u201d body type.\u00a0 Instead of rubbery plastic, this big guy is made out of vinyl.\u00a0 What\u2019s even better is that he\u2019s Glyos compatible.\u00a0 His feet can be removed and replaced with any of the Glyos compatible vinyl plugs.\u00a0 This makes for some truly odd, if not disturbing, combinations for both toy brands.<\/p>\n

\"mdls8\"<\/p>\n

The nice thing about working with a larger scale is additional painted details that can be added.\u00a0 The whole figure has been molded in a bright red, while his toenails and eyes have been done in yellow.\u00a0 But unlike smaller Mordles, the large guy gets gleaming white teeth and a dark red mouth behind them.\u00a0 This definitely adds nicely to his ferocity.<\/p>\n

\"mdls6\"<\/p>\n

The other nice thing about the larger scale is the added detail.\u00a0 Instead of being flat, the undersides of his feet have added toe lines.\u00a0 I\u2019ve also noticed a couple of details that slipped by me on the smaller versions.\u00a0 Probably the strangest is that Zerak has a shapely ass.\u00a0 I guess he gets more workout time in than the rest of his brood.<\/p>\n

\"mdls4\"<\/p>\n

While the little Mordles are still fun, this giant one is even better.\u00a0 Never in a million years did I think I\u2019d ever own a four inch tall Mordle, yet here he is and I love him.\u00a0 I can\u2019t wait to see what other colors he\u2019ll come in (I\u2019d love to get a blank white one that could be customized), and if his little friends will join him in this larger scale.<\/p>\n

Oh yeah, also, when do we get a two foot tall version?<\/p>\n
