Today I\u2019m going to take a look back at Spy Monkey Creations\u2019 last figure and accessory drop.\u00a0 This time the guys brought us two of their Weaponeers figures and the Close Combat Armory in glow-in-the-dark green and a few metallic pieces to sweeten the deal.<\/p>\n

\"mnka1\"<\/p>\n

The first figure in the set, and the snazziest in my opinion, is the Lifespring Empyreus.\u00a0 All the plastic of this figure is done in GITD green, but the real icing on the cake is the paint apps.\u00a0 The bright teal highlights really pop out on the figure while also breaking up the figures textures, especially when he\u2019s glowing.<\/p>\n

Along with the paint apps, this deluxe figure also includes a full set of alternate heads (Empyreus, Umbreus, Brutok, Palidar, and of course Gohlem).\u00a0 This Empyreus also comes with a short blade, sickle, silver vac metal sword, and silver vac metal long and short handles.<\/p>\n

Next up is the Glowstone Gohlem.\u00a0 He\u2019s a standard figure that\u2019s also comprised of GITD plastic.\u00a0 There are a few simple bright teal paint apps on the eyes and symbol, but they\u2019re not quite as detailed as the Empyreus.\u00a0 He also comes with a full set of alternate heads and a short blade and sickle weapons.<\/p>\n

Last up is the DX Close Combat Armory.\u00a0 This set comes with the standard assortment of pistols, a sickle, and a variety of short blades.\u00a0 But since it\u2019s deluxe, you also get a few extra pieces done in silver vac metal. Continue to page 2…<\/a><\/p>\n

I\u2019m always a fan of glow-in-the-dark, so this is a pretty easy set for me to love.\u00a0 But I\u2019m particularly happy with the painted details on the Lifespring Empyreus.\u00a0 The added teal colors really make the figure pop and sets him nicely apart from his Gohlem brother.<\/p>\n

The Lifespring Empyreus, Close Combat Armory, and DX Close Combat Armory are all still available at Spy Monkey Creations store<\/a> for a very reasonable price.\u00a0 So if you\u2019re in need of some glowing plastic love, make sure to check them out!<\/p>\n
