\"\"<\/a>With DCUC currently MIA and DC Direct focusing on video games and all things Nu, the Club Infinite Earths subscription has been my only link to the comics and characters I love.\u00a0 And now with Rocket Red out of the way, it\u2019s pure character gold for the rest of the year!<\/p>\n

Mirror Master isn\u2019t the most glamorous DC Classics figure, but he sure goes a long way in helping flush out one of the sparser corners of everyone\u2019s collection: Flash\u2019s Rogues.\u00a0 I\u2019m not sure how many years the DC sub will be around, but I have the feeling it\u2019s going to be a challenge completing the core members of the Rogues in their most iconic forms.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Luckily for us, Mirror Master\u2019s costume never really changed over time.\u00a0 A few small details were added and taken away, but his design has remained mostly the same even when the characters underneath the mask were changed out.\u00a0 So even though this figure\u2019s bio calls him McCulloch, he could just as easily be Scudder.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Mirror Master uses the same standard buck body that we all know and love.\u00a0 Like the rest of the Club figures, his body is a bit taller than his DC Classics counterparts.\u00a0 I don\u2019t really mind that Mattel has switched to a slightly taller buck because it adds a bit more variety to the shelf.\u00a0 But I do think they need to definitely keep this in consideration depending on the character.\u00a0 There\u2019s really no excuse for a figure like Superboy Prime to be taller than Superman.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

MM\u2019s new elements are comprised of add on pieces.\u00a0 There\u2019s his belt, which has a few sculpted lines to give it more detail.\u00a0 His two mirror gun holsters are large, but they can be removed if you\u2019re not a fan.\u00a0 There are also the folds of his cowl that rest around his neck.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The figure\u2019s best new feature is obviously his head.\u00a0 The Four Horsemen did a good job of reproducing the details of the figure\u2019s look.\u00a0 But what really impressed me was the expression they sculpted on his face.\u00a0 He has this perfect sly and smarmy look that really gives the figure a definite personality.\u00a0 Of course I might feel this a bit stronger from my figure since eyes were painted leering slightly to the left, so he always looks like he\u2019s up to something.\u00a0 Continue to page 2…<\/a><\/p>\n

Speaking of paint, MM\u2019s coloring is as simple as his look.\u00a0 Most of the figure has been molded in that light brown jumpsuit and given a go with the air brush to highlight muscle tone.\u00a0 His other pieces are either molded or painted green, and they did a pretty good job of matching the two.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Mirror Master comes with two mirror guns for accessories.\u00a0 Both guns are exactly the same and have a great techno sculpt to them.\u00a0 What makes these two accessories even better is the ability to switch out the closed ends with alternate open ones.\u00a0 We don\u2019t get a lot of accessories in the DC Classics line, so well thought out pieces like this are a double edged sword.\u00a0 I really love the design, but I also wish more of the figures came with something this nice.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Mirror Master has never been my favorite character, or even my favorite Rogue, but he\u2019s definitely an integral part to Flash\u2019s universe and DC as a whole.\u00a0 The figure comes off as plain at first, but the more you play around with him the more you see all the little details that do give him his own personality.\u00a0 Plus it\u2019s always nice being able to mark one more Rogue off the list.<\/p>\n
