<\/a>Back in February, I reviewed OMFG Series 1 from October toys. The initial release saw some great colorways including the basic flesh, Kickstarter black, and site exclusives in light blue, royal blue, yellow, & green. In the months since, a few more colors have popped up. Let\u2019s have a look see. <\/p>\n

In my February review<\/a>, I did have one colorway that wasn\u2019t completely represented, the pink Artist\u2019s Proof set. At the time only the Stroll<\/a> had been released. Since then, and mostly thanks to my wife being available (& luckier than I am) during the drops, we were able to assemble the remaining figures in pink: Phantom<\/a> Shithouse<\/a>, Multi-Skull<\/a>, Crawdad Kid<\/a>, & King Castor. <\/p>\n

I\u2019m Stroll had packaging back in February, but it\u2019s not here anymore. I decided to keep the others packaged for this shot, which made for somewhat of a torturous wait between the second and fifth release. The custom packaging was a cool touch from each of the artists behind the figures and made for an extra bit of fun after each one arrived. <\/p>\n

After the Artist\u2019s Proofs, things quieted down a bit and I felt like I was done. I had the seven colorways and I was happy with them. How little did I know. The second batch, so to speak, kicked off with a new, uh… Kickstarter for the a GITD set. Well, I\u2019m always up for GITD, so I happily pledged. The GITD also sort of stands in for another of my wants, a white set. <\/p>\n

I\u2019m not sure which was revealed in what order, but the next three colorways all showed up around the same time. Rotofugi hooked into me again with a clear blue colorway. And then SDCC brought out two more colorways, a basic purple also from October Toys and a special color-change set from 3Dretro. Continue to Page 2…<\/a><\/p>\n

A friend of mine was able to snag me a set of each from the convention. I\u2019m not sure if he\u2019d want me to drop his name, but I do want to make sure to give him a hearty thank you each time I review anything he picked up for me. So, again, thank you! <\/em><\/p>\n

While I love all the colorways so far \u2013 I\u2019ve found myself happier with many of the second wave of colors. The GITD, the color-change, and the clear blue are easily some of my favorites and I\u2019ve been treasuring the AP Pinks most because they were a little more difficult to obtain and since they all came from the artists directly \u2013 my Phantom Shithouse button is displayed proudly. <\/p>\n

The best thing here is the news that OMFG is prospering. There\u2019s actually a 12th colorway, gold, coming soon from Luke\u2019s Toy Store<\/a>. OMFG Series 2 was successfully funded in early August so those\u2019ll be along before we know it. And even, better Series 3<\/a> voting has begun. It\u2019s a great time to be an OMFG fan!<\/p>\n\n\n\n \t
