<\/center><\/p>\nSpikor<\/strong> – Untouchable Master of Evil Combat<\/em>, Real Name<\/strong>: Kleffton
Originally a blacksmith from the Eternian village of Nordling, Kleffton was fused with an enchanted suit of spiked armor and a mystic trident when he attempted to steal a sacred scroll from the city’s high priests. Banished from his home, Kleffton became an outcast, wandering into the Sands of Time. He was discovered by Skeletor, who saw his natural talent to forge weapons and recruited him to battle against the Snake Men. Now called Spikor, he serves Skeletor by creating new arms and armor for the Overlord of Evil. Spikor uses his spike-studded body and trident arm as mighty weapons! <\/p><\/blockquote>\nAnd Sir Laser-Lot is currently scheduled for August:<\/p>\n

Sir Laser-Lot<\/strong> – Heroic Knight of Grayskull<\/em>, Real Name<\/strong>: Unrevealed
Across the continent of Preternia, the mightiest of King Grayskull\u2019s Knights was Sir Laser-Lot, a master of weapons and hand-t0-hand fighting techniques. He wore an enchanted suit of armor powered by the great Gem of Tamadge which enhanced his strength and let him unleash powerful energy blasts. So legendary were his deeds that the future king He-Man sent one of his loyal Time Agents into the past to bring Sir Laser-Lot forward to his time. Here, Sir Laser-Lot became the King\u2019s new Man-At-Arms, training both the Royal Guards and the King\u2019s young son Dare in ancient battle techniques. Sir Laser-Lot uses his energy blade to fight for chivalry and justice in any time.<\/p><\/blockquote>\nFor Spikor, Toy Guru noted that the character had never had a proper origin in the comics or TV series, giving the MOTUC team a chance to flesh out the character in the bio with his mini-comic appearance as the starting point. This worked pretty well, delivering a bio that including an actual retelling of the events related to Spikor specifically instead of it having to serve as a tease for the overly story. <\/p>\n
However, it was Sir Laser-Lot’s bio that stirred the fan reaction. If you’re not familiar with some of the more obscure parts of the MOTU mythos. In the mid 90s, Lou Scheimer Production pitched a new cartoon \u201cHe-Ro: Son of He-Man\u201d that followed Adam’s adopted son, Dare. The name He-Ro was re-used from the Powers of Grayskull pitch, but there was no immediate connection between the two. It’s not clear in the bios how much Toy Guru intends to use, but there are already clear differences with Teela being Sorceress and Laser-Lot being Man-At-Arms. Whether Dare is adopted (and was raised by savage Bearcats) or not still remains to be seen. <\/p>\n
I’m interested to see exactly how much of the post-NA MOTUverse that we start seeing in the bios, if it will mean possible figures, and how the consumer base will respond to that. For now, this particular bio seems to have gone over fairly poorly, but I think that may be in the wording more so than the intent. When I read the bio, it seemed “clear” that Spector removing Laser-Lot from the past was done in a way that didn’t affect anything – either Laser-Lot always mysteriously disappeared or died in a way that left no remains which left Spector the opportunity to save him in a way that they couldn’t do for Duncan or the Sorceress. While I think that’s probably the intent, the bio doesn’t specifically state that though. (And to add the ambiguity or pre-destination in time travel stories – would SLL have always “mysteriously disappeared” and Spector merely fulfilled destiny or was there an original timeline where SLL never disappeared… oh, time travel, how you complicate things…). <\/p>\n
Anyway, two more bios for us to chew over. I don’t find much objectionable in either, but that’s why there’s a comments section… <\/p>\n
