favorite figures in the Transformers Prime line is the First Edition Starscream. His cocky expression and ability to formulate dramatic gestures make him extremely fun. When Takara Instead of phasing out the First Edition molds, they decided to keep using some of them. I consider most of those FE figures as nearly perfect Transformers figures, so I’m entirely for this. The second thing they did was add a Minicon to each of the figures, which I’m also entirely for. More robots are a good thing, right?

<a thing that struck me about Skywarp was how brilliant his color scheme is. The majority of his body is molded in black and makes him look extremely sleek, especially with the metallic copper and Starscream’s comparatively plain gray colors.

<img decoding="async" loading="lazy" mounted two large bombs to his wings. I’m actually really glad they did this. It was a really simple way to give Skywarp his own unique feel. And in case you were wondering, the bombs are glued on. Although I’m sure they can be removed with enough force.

<img future colorways. Starscream has a great creepy smile going on, and I don’t really want all of my jets to be leering at me from the shelf. They also need to figure out a way to do a more upsetting decisions Takara made with this line is to limit the amount of paint apps applied. It seems the heads, and a couple of crucial body parts are being painted, but everything else is molded in a certain color. To add more detail to each figure, Takara included a sticker sheet. Some of the figures, like Ratchet, actually need the stickers to add most of the red colors to his body. I was worried Skywarp would be the same way, but luckily he isn’t. Aside from no Decepticon symbol, which comes on the sheet, I really think Skywarp looks fine as is. The stickers they want you to add really just make him look more like Starscream’s paint apps. I really want the two figures to look as distinct as possible, so I decided not to add any.

<img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-17876" comes with one accessory, his Minicon named Balo (or Baro, depending on your translation). I think Balo is supposed to look like a robotic buffalo, hence the name, but I really think he looks easy to figure out and I had fun assembling him.

Balo‘s weapon mode can either be a ginormous throwing star, or a gun shaped like a massive drill. Personally, I prefer the
