One thing that never surprises us about the various toy forums we visit is the amount of creative people in the toy collecting hobby. You’ve likely met a few yourselves, folks that will tease you with their art, show off their latest custom, or occasionally you’ll meet that guy that sculpts his own toys. Two of those creators, Gatchagrey and RoyalT, have cooked up something really special and they want your help. <\/p>\n

Gatchagrey is the creator behind the world of Bug-Shido<\/a>. Gatcha’s still keeping the plot close to his vest, but we do know that it’s a feudal world where the various insect clans vie for resources and territory. We may not know the details, but Gatcha’s been keeping us riveted by designing tons of original characters and joining together with other artists to see those designs brought to life in a variety of styles. The result? A world rich in characters with tons of potential for action figures.<\/p>\n

You might know RoyalT from He-Man.Org<\/a>, where he’s spent the last few years generously utilizing his sculpting talents to make “stactions” based on fan creations in the MOTU universe. His annual contests keep MOTU fans anxiously waiting to see the winners translated into 3-D form. If you’d like to check out some of those figures, RoyalT has a few unpainted kits still available for sale at Dinner Table Creations<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Gatchagrey and RoyalT present: The Bug-Shido Staction Character Contest.<\/a><\/P><\/strong><\/p>\n

The premise is simple, fans will partake in various rounds of character selection until one Bug-Shido character comes out on top. Then, RoyalT will translate that character into three dimensions. <\/p>\n

The contest is being held by Gatchagrey on the Fantastic Exclusive Boards<\/a>. You don’t have to register to vote, but if you’d like to post comments or talk with other fans, you will need to sign up. You can do that by following the instructions in this thread<\/a>.<\/p>\n
