This initial cardback checklist attempts to take figures released by TakaraTomy in Japan, Hasbro’s domestic & Asian releases to form a cohesive line. Beneath the cardback checklist is a simplified checklist of other releases in the MP line that have either been replaced by improved versions or are additional variant releases to a toy already in the checklist. The choices made are strictly that of the checklist creator. Individual collections may vary.<\/p>\n

A black redeco of Optimus Prime, Nemesis Prime includes a Laser Blaster, Red Energon Ax, and a Dead Matrix. Unlike Optimus, this figure’s affiliation logo is a tampo. US Release: None. Japan Release: 2013.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\nStarscream’s original release featured a design intent on the jet mode being an accurate F-15 Eagle. He included 2 null rays, 2 missile racks, Doctor Arkeville, a gun clip, and display stand. US Release: None. Japan Release: 2006.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n


MP-03G Ghost Starscream
<\/Strong><\/center><\/p>\n

A reissue of MP-03 cast in mostly purple translucent plastic to recreate Starscream’s Ghost. He included two null rays, two missile racks, Doctor Arkeville, a gun clip, and display stand. US Release: None. Japan Release: 2010.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

MP-05 Megatron
<\/strong><\/center><\/p>\n

\nIn scale with MP-01 Optimus Prime. Megatron was not released in the US due to his highly accurate gun mode. He includes Fusion cannon, Energon Mace, Sword, Pistol, & Kremzeek. US Release: None. Japan Release: 2007.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n


MP-05G Gold Megatron

MP-09B Rodimus Prime (Black)
<\/Strong><\/center><\/p>\n

An e-Hobby exclusive black repaint of Rodimus Prime. He includes his Trailer, Anti-Photon Lasers \/Eliminator, the Matrix, a buzzsaw, & a torch. This run had notable QC issues. US Release: None. Japan Release: 2009.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n


MP-11S Sunstorm (US)

MP-13 Soundwave
<\/Strong><\/center><\/p>\n

A clear & copper redeco of Soundwave for Year of the Goat. He includes all his accessories, the first five cassettes and all their accessories in a clear\/copper redecos. US Release: 3\/2015. Japan Release: None.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

MP-13:<\/strong><\/center><\/p>\n

The US release of MP-13 featured a lighter blue Soundwave with a yellow visor to more accurately resemble the original toy. In addition to Laserbeak, the US release also included the other four cassettes: Buzzsaw, Ravage, Frenzy, & Rumble and all of their accessories.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

MP-11S:<\/strong><\/center><\/p>\n

The US Release of Sunstorm featured an almost entirely different deco from the Japanese release. Both are pictured in the checklists above, but the US release featured a deco that more closely resembled the Animated series. <\/p>\n<\/td>\n

MP-15 & MP-16:<\/strong><\/center><\/p>\n

While the cassettes were released as two-packs in Japan, the US release (exclusive to Toys R Us) saw the four cassettes included with Soundwave & Laserbeak as one giant set. The TRU release featured the accessories of all six Transformers though the cassette cases were now clear instead of pink and featured slightly different deco. Rumble & Frenzy featured brighter colors and gold\/silver paint instead of chromed highlights, Ravage was more grey, and Buzzsaw more yellow. <\/p>\n<\/td>\n
