While Preview Night has become somewhat of a superstar event with new toys being carelessly displayed to whet our appetites for panels scheduled later in the convention. In the middle, is Day One, a day with a couple panels, some interesting news, and needed to build the anticipation for tomorrow.
Preview Night seems so different from just a few years ago when it comes to San Diego and its online coverage. In past years, the night before SDCC wasn't really the place for reveals and the technology wasn’t ready to beam back anything quickly. This year’s Preview Night is almost unrecognizable.
So let’s take a break from the Mattycollector hullabaloo with another Captain America: The First Avenger review! It’s day three of our Flags & Spandex week and we’re going to make a jump over to the comic book side line with a look at Captain Britain in his New Excalibur duds. This line’s for all patriotic heroes, even those from other countries.
In what must be one of the biggest screw-ups in pre-SDCC history, Digital River has inadvertantly leaked the names of several figures included in the 2012 subscriptions, including the existence of a possible DC subscription. It has to be real, but the names are going to have you doubting the authenticity.
Before we get to the review, I want to apologize for how late this article is today. I had planned to post it some time this morning, but those intentions went awry.
