The "Catch-(Mostly)-All" Toy Thread

For all the lines not covered in our themed forums. Think Thundercats, Ghostbusters, Voltron, Wrestling, Doctor Who, Power Rangers, Video Game Licenses, TV & Film Licenses... do I need to go on or did you have it figured out before I even started?

Ha, no I totally agree with your post here, I was being sarcastic about media violence being responsible for society's ills.

BTW, there's an ebay auction up for the rambo defender for like 9 bucks right now... it is missing the top cannon, but appears complete other than that.

OK, let me throw this question out:

What toy would you have loved to have had as a kid, but it didn't exist?

Like either something that didn't have a line, or toys for it.
Or something that DID have a line, but maybe didn't get to a specific character.
Or didn't get a certain character right.

You get the idea.

I don't know if I've ever thought about that before. I'll have to think about it.

V. I discovered both of the miniseries on VHS when I was fairly young, and I would have killed to have some toys. The only thing they ever made was a 12" Visitor figure (Which I still want, but am unwilling to pay $50+ for). I wish that had made a line of 3 3/4 figs like the kids in the show had, and some vehicles. I would still kill to get a convertible Landing Craft/Fighter toy.

I had to think about old property loves and I remembered another Mister C toy I'd forgotten about. They made this:

But never got around to T.C. & his Huey. That would have been sweet. Matchbox made a die-cast heli years later, but it wasn't the same.

On that helicopter note, I also would have been all over an Airwolf with a 3 3/4 Stringfellow Hawke. [grin]
