i wouldn't slather him, but maybe clean the room w/ a cleaning product containing citric acid... but yes, expect stinkor himself to reek for a very, very long time. i just while moving had to toss my vintage stinkor, and while it was by no means potent, it was still obvious that he smelled... and that figure was old enough to buy a beer after he voted in november.

I LOVE the smell of patchouli. I've gone as far as burning patchouli incense.

My Moss Man is still pretty pungent too. I never knew the original was supposed to smell though.

So I finally opened Slush Head last night. I was waiting to open him on my birthday!

I have to say I was a little underwhelmed. Everything about the figure looks good --- but I guess its just lacking some sort of cool factor. Or maybe its just me. It was kind of late at the time and I think I was overtired.

I didn't think it would, but the head does sorta bother me. Instinctively I wanted to be able to pose the head --- but of course I couldn't. I can't tell if its a scratch or maybe plastic dust but there's something on the inside of the dome too which is kind of annoying. I wasn't planning on filling the dome but maybe now I will.

I don't know if its being too anal retentive or not but I don't want to use tap water because of minerals and chlorine in the water. I might use distilled water instead. I'm just afraid of germs accumulating too.

Has anyone discussed this? Maybe using saline or something instead of water? Or maybe something like rubbing alcohol or a single bead of bleach from an eye dropper or something. I don't want to put something in that will hurt the plastic or paint though. Am I being too anal here? ;-P

i wouldn't put bleach in if you value the face paint. but what i will say is this... if you gently warm the water, and add some arrow root, the water won't cloud, but it will thicken into a nice oozy consistency, cuz it's a gravy thickener. if you were then to add a drop of green food coloring, you'd have a damned cool substance to pour into that helmet.
