Why is that called G2 Megatron? Wasn't G2 Megatron Green and Black Camo like the one in the 2 pack with prime a few years ago?

That's "Hero" Megatron! A recolor of the green/purple tank. I'd imagine that means a "Hero" recolor of Laser Optimus isn't too far behind.

I love those Kup heads! Makes the head as great as the rest of the figure. I wish they'd update Springer already.

So that’s his official name. I had Hero Megatron as a kid. Seeing the image brings back many fond memories of him as a kid. I’m pretty sure he’s in a box somewhere. Pity they used a terrible mold for the homage.
