I'm kinda dissapointed at the scale of Stel too (and Anti-Monitor) I get the appeal of a larger scale figure as their C&C, but they dont always have to be so giant. Stel should be maybe slightly taller than the regular figures...maybe 7' imo. I liked the first wave Metamorpho figure. Its ok for them to have a smaller scale figure thrown in there as a C&C.

My only problem with Stel's parts being reused for a STRIPE is that Stel is a huge figure, which would mean that the STRIPE figure would also be giantic. Dont get me wrong...he's a big guy but not THAT big.

I still would love to see a a really BIG C&C figure with parts spread out over 2 waves of figures. You know...a 2 foot tall Anti-Monitor! Collectors probably wouldnt take kindly to being strung along over 2 waves of figures (and some figures they wouldnt want) to try and put together a figure of that size. Mattel would have to make EVERY figure a slam dunk that everybody would love. I think its still a fun idea tho

Yeah, I don't care how big the C&C is... well, Metamorpho was lame, but otherwise, I don't care.

I just wish the size was more than an afterthought. I did this last year so it's missing the last few C&C's:

Stel, Arkillo, the Ultra-Humanite, Trigon, & Validus should all be down there at the feet of the big guys.

I fully understand that the C&Cs must be put in relative scale, but I wish the big ones were still big and the medium ones were more medium.

Stel being used to make Stripe (or some other robot) is stupid, but at least it has some defense as part reuse.

But there's no reason I can think of to screw up the Anti-Monitor that bad. If they wanted to make him that small, why not do him in his first appearance costume? He's already in his seen twice modern look (which kinda blows) and both times he was skyscraper tall - so why so short? Why is he not the max size?

I just don't get it.

Been checking to WMs to see if Stel will get his arm before Friday... it's not looking good.

And I think I may have to review Skallox without his hand! That sucks...

No wave 3 is planed at this time. If the movie goes well it has been suggested that designs are ready to go for a third wave in the fall. With what I've seen I would doubt that third wave will happen.

Yep, the line stops at Wave 2. According to Mattel, the retailers weren't willing to order a third wave.

From the looks of it, they switched to movie-based product. The GLC line will have come and gone before that gets here - which I find really odd.

I'd like to get a third wave, but with four waves on the schedule in the next 9 months, I'm okay with that pace.

Speaking of wave three, I was at Wal-Mart and for a moment I thought I had found a figure from an unannounced wave three. I saw the GLC packaging and a figure that I didnt immediately recognize. Sadly, someone is just weird. The package was very tapped together.

I know, there's still soooo many alien GL's to make, not to mention the rest of Hal's rogues gallery that Geoff Johns seems to have forgotten about like:

Major Disaster
Count Vertigo
Evil Star
Sonar
C&C Hector Hammond(you'd think he would've already been made since he's in the GL movie)
Goldface
C&C Krona
Some Anti-Lantern Corps members(remember them?)
The Tattooed Man

So many figures left to make that could have been made for wave 3. What a waste.
