Buyer's Remorse

For all the lines not covered in our themed forums. Think Thundercats, Ghostbusters, Voltron, Wrestling, Doctor Who, Power Rangers, Video Game Licenses, TV & Film Licenses... do I need to go on or did you have it figured out before I even started?

I don't get buyers remorse that often as I really only collect DC stuff and Joes.I find if I really really stay true to one or two lines, its easier to buy things that you love. Last time I had buyers remorse was buying a bunch of those Action League figures on clearance. Even tho the 2 packs were dirt cheap, I still really didn't need them. I now have a few of these things from the middle of the line and no real desire to complete the set. Kinda the same feeling with the Brave and the Bold figures. That was more the hunt was more fun than the toys

I finally caved and imported an expensive Japanse Transformer. As of right now, I'm not feeling any buyer's remorse, but does divorcing yourself from the reality of what he cost count?

depends... is the remorse just from the spending, or do you have the toy and now he feels "less than worth it?"

I'm completely satisfied with him, but I'm not really thinking about him in terms of how many $20s or even, say, how many MOTUC figures he represents. We had the money for Sunstorm, and I actually did some extra work that paid for him entirely outside the 'budget' on top of that, but as I slowly accumulate three-figure toys, I don't completely understand why they're three-figure toys (I mean, I get it here he's exclusive to Amazon in a different country, but in general I don't know that the high end stuff is "worth" high end prices).

But he's not "less than worth it" He's totally awesome. Sil was poking fun at me because every morning she gets up, she finds that he's been switched between modes. I can't stop flipping him around.

He is nice.....You like Transformers....You like transforming him back and forth. You should feel no remorse in that. I mean hell a ML is 20 bucks at tru...that is something you should feel guilty spending your money on, not Sunstorm

ML at $20 is exactly why I quit buying them, There are several I would like but I have to say pass due to money, close to that with MU but MU is a bit closer to home (due to GI Joe and Star Wars) so there you go, but it is getting to where I ain't buying near as much at $10 a fig.

ML being $20 at TRU is killer! All 10 "local" WMs have cut MLs out of the planos. One WM about a half hour away has MU, but no MLs. If I want 'em I have to snag 'em at Target or TRU (and TRU ain't worth it). It's not like I buy a lot of Marvel anyway, but I feel like my retail searching is just about over at this point.

But, yes, Sunstorm is indeed awesome. And I'll happily (hopefully) snag Thundercracker to go along with him here soon. The MP11 is a great update and I'm going to have a lot more fun with Masterpieces than I was with the little TFs. I think it's just that the amount of money being spent at once is a little bit ludicrous.
