The "Catch-All" Toy Thread v2

For all the lines not covered in our themed forums. Think Thundercats, Ghostbusters, Voltron, Wrestling, Doctor Who, Power Rangers, Video Game Licenses, TV & Film Licenses... do I need to go on or did you have it figured out before I even started?

The "Catch-All" Toy Thread v2

Disney's Fairies by Playmates - Fasion Dolls, Action figures, Playsets and more and they have great QC, solid sculpts and incredible play value. I have picked up several of the smaller scale figures and am just impressed with a figure that is not Bratz-esque in the girls isle.

Besides this new version of Tink and her friends in Pixie Hollow are some of the better stuff coming out of Disney's 2d studios right now

That might be the most realistic/accurate HT sculpt yet.

Absolutely insane.

Whodathunk that Pitt's mug would be so well-captured in 3D?

As I recall I saw "him" at Tussaud's several years ago and it weren't too good.

Sadly, HT's Scarlett as Black Widow is only looking good at certain angles.

Yeah. I love some angles others she just looks slackjawed....

There's also something weird that happens with certain HT sculpts, where up close they look a lot better, and from any kind of distance they start looking odd.

Maybe the sculptors not seeing the forest for the trees?

That makes sense. I watched this short film about a subject I love, the guys who paint adds on buildings.

They mentioned that you might be looking at a three by three area that looks perfect but when you move out on the whole the thing is terrible. Sometimes you have to look at the whole presentation and not just the parts.
