Voltron (Mattel)

For all the lines not covered in our themed forums. Think Thundercats, Ghostbusters, Voltron, Wrestling, Doctor Who, Power Rangers, Video Game Licenses, TV & Film Licenses... do I need to go on or did you have it figured out before I even started?

Ok, I'll admit it - I joined the Voltron subscription
My first Matty subscription

There's a Voltron lion up for sale today on Matty; I thought sub holders were charged two days before these things went online? I haven't been charged yet. Par for the course or is something up?

a lot of people are getting shipping confirmations today (i did), and there seems to be a good number of people that have already received their Red Lion, but as of yet nobody is reporting that they have been charged for the Red Lion

I got my shipping notice and I was one of those that caved in and ordered one on the sale day. I told myself I would sit out of the whole Voltron thing but I got too curious.

Every few weeks I come around to the idea that I want to build the 23" Voltron. :noisy:

so here's my burning question of the day (burning urethra of the day is a different website):

how long until TFC or one of those types are hocking "big cat robo" done w/ better articulation, more paint aps, cooler transformations, and a larger scale for 500 bucks?

now that you mention it, it does sorta sting when i pee... i think i need more cranberry juice in my diet.

oh yes, and the 3rd Party projects --- i'm actually really surprised somebody hasn't done that yet...

i'd be curious to see what mattel's reaction to it would be ---

Voltron needs a 3rd party. Every once in awhile the sheer size of that Voltron appeals to me and then all I have to go and do is look at pics of the thing. I'm not going to take Mattel to task, but it just isn't "Deluxe" enough. I'm sure the size was dictated by the pilot compatibility, but it would've been nice to see it be a little smaller and be a better figure overall.
