I know that they're just trying really hard to sell Ghostbusters, but this is just a weird mesh of movie themes. I think a tax ad for Louis would be funny, but since it's a Keymaster figure, not so much.

I ducked out on that line many moons ago, but I was thinking of snapping up a Vinz. Just the accessories would (in theory) be cool/fun. But, the more I saw of the figure, the less I wanted to go anywhere near it. That sculpt looks pretty soft to me... and the proportions on the arms and legs are wonky as heck.

The advertisement is pretty bad, too. I feel like the the fact that the central pic of the ad being so grainy is a way around producing a large, higher resolution pic (like they do with MOTUC). They know it's far from their best effort... and they're hiding it a bit in the ad. The higher res, full color pic is pretty tiny (and completely cuts out most of the sculpt).

I'm sure that Mattel has talented in-house sculptors, but Vinz there isn't a good sign for that line's 4H-less future.

I skipped on Clortho, He didn't look Rick Moranis enough for me to buy him and honestly I'm waiting for GB2 Louis in Spengler's clothing... (Complained a lot about sharing bodies, yet the figure I want is reusing the standard GB buck) and VIGO!!

Vigo is the one true test for Mattel's in-house team...

My heart was out of this line as soon as I knew I was still buying "4H sculpted figures" the 4H were NOT in fact fully sculpting.

Frankly, I think the Tully figure kinda sucks, the most cartoony, wonky-proportioned of the set so far, by far.

But he sold out, so I guess there's enough steam to keep kicking this weak-ass can along.

It's true, I'd probably be interested in Vigo, just because it's Vigo, but all hopes for anything else cool and collector-worthy (like great likenesses, lots of fun accessories, plenty of cool ghosts and monsters) out of this line are pretty much dead for me.

I bought the GB2 4pack and it was cause my local TRU had a sale that had a 10-15% discount on Mattel stuff AND I had a Voucher from Mattel from a busted DCUC 2 pack (Yay for starfruit QC!) and that's about it... Funny thing is that I put the GBs back in the box after I checked them out a bit... Hopefully Vigo will make me take them off their plastic and cardboard prison!
