Would You or Wouldn't You (The Art of Toy Buying)

For all the lines not covered in our themed forums. Think Thundercats, Ghostbusters, Voltron, Wrestling, Doctor Who, Power Rangers, Video Game Licenses, TV & Film Licenses... do I need to go on or did you have it figured out before I even started?

Ummmm yes!

I just made a huge decision to unload my entire Alts/Binals collection and replace them with Classics/Universe/Generations. So I'm a little behind.

PM coming your way buddy boy! :sectaur:

Okay, I've got another one. Still Transformers.

Classics Jetfire - $25

I bought a mint in box Jetfire for $30 of ebay.
$25 is a pretty good price, especially if it's 100% complete.

It's a TRU exclusive. We've had three in stock here at my TRU for almost a week. I've popped in the store a couple times for christmas shopping and have yet to leave with it.

It's the extra $5 that bugs me (the MOTU 2pks are $35 now too), but I have a 20% coupon that counteracts it.

Plus, it's Hal Jordan... again.

Definately looking foreward to grabbing one of these when i see one in my area. Some of my reasons for getting it might give you reason to get one for yourself. I cant really tell 100% but it looks like the Hal is the metallic'y green from the previous TRU exclusive? I left my TRU Hal in the package...only cuz i've gotten all previous Hals and they are all in my display. It also looks like the Sinestro is the correct height? I would also grab that set for that reason....to replace the teenage body Sinestro. Lastly i was never able to find the classic costumed Sinestro variant so theres yet another reason for me.

He is in metallics like the previous exclusive but the paint deco on his suit (as in how much it covers) is not the exact same as the previous TRU exclusive. I believe this time he has even more metallic green paint further down the suit.

tinsel testies? dude, yer gonna get it to get the corrected sinestro, and to have one more purchase of hal to bitch about. nothing wrong with that, so long as you're ok with repeating past formulas of behavior. so just buy the damned thing and give us some funny reviews already! [smile]
