dear matty,
why the slavish devotion to a system that doesn't work? digital river (hereafter referred to as the Henchmen) is your constant scapegoat in the gross mismanagement of your website, but your own business model, the push for near-instant sellouts of multiple brands' products all on one day of transactions, puts the Henchmen in the worst possible position you could manage. if you spaced out your products, for example, had motuc mondays, dcu tuesdays, ghostbusters wednesdays, miscellaneous other product thursdays, then allowed the Henchmen fridays for order consolidation and processing, you'd have the entire weekend to combine products into one shipping box and get things labeled, then ship the following monday. the entire process would be streamlined, and easier to process, AND cheaper to ship. wouldn't this be infinitely easier than the mattygeddon as it currently exists? for everyone involved, not just "the fans?"
BTW, we HATE being referred to as "fans" we're CUSTOMERS, learn some respect.
