NECA catch-all thread

For all the lines not covered in our themed forums. Think Thundercats, Ghostbusters, Voltron, Wrestling, Doctor Who, Power Rangers, Video Game Licenses, TV & Film Licenses... do I need to go on or did you have it figured out before I even started?

Big Chap is extremely nice indeed, but he could do with some good ankle articulation. Also, his dome doesn't appear to be stuck on very well. Other than that, ridiculously cool.

craig windrix, of "sgt windrix" fame, has apparently lost his battle with stomach cancer... there's a sick part of me that wants to track the aftermarket price to see if it goes up. either way, a sad tale. least he got action figure immortality.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes figures have shown up near me. I've already got Caesar, and I want Maurice and probably Koba, but part of me thinks, at $19 a pop, how many monkey figures do I need?

I advocate 3 apes and no monkeys. [smile]

Just picked up a "clearanced" ($25) Endo-Glow Terminator from NECA at a Toys R Us in Ohio whilst on holiday, ostensibly to hack it up for Battle-Damaged Faker customising. Then I saw how amazingly the joints and pistons were engineered and executed. So I planned on getting another, just to have one untouched. Then I saw how fragile the glow-in-the-dark bits were when the joints started crumbling. Bugger that. I wish they'd re-release the T-800 Endoskeleton. Meantime, I've got me some ideas on how to funk up Faker . . . .

No. I really, really wanted it, but it sold out before I could get it.

Aww, too bad man! I was lucky to score one. I was in the right place at the right time and actually had the spare cash in my budget (I pay for everything with cash, no credit). I actually have a buddy to thank because he posted about the sale (which I had forgotten about).
