It kind of hurts, honestly, seeing the amount of new tooling there and how well executed it is, compared to some of the duds this line has produced. That has been a consistent beef of mine with motuc, the wildly varying quality of execution. How the hell are we supposed to have king choobah and lizard man in the same year?
Now, that said, I predict KC will have one gripe against him, those feet. You can tell looking at him, and knowing this line, that he'll take one vanilla pose only, and he will stand precariously in that pose.
Vena looks great. I think the wings look ponderous for posing but she'll likely be better off in execution than the sorceress (no serving tray arms).
I'm making the opposite call as prfkt and skipping this sub for mythic legions stuff. They scratch all my Tolkienish and D&Dy nerves so there is it. I probably will try to score callix, vena and prahvus on day of, if there is any, but honestly, if I miss them, it won't take up much of my day. I feel like I've clung to the dream of motuc long enough, it's time to wake up.
