Sssqueeze

Postby Beedo Sookcool » Tue Jan 13, 2015 3:33 pm

Aahhhh, Sssqueeze. Even amongst the kick-arse Snake Men, he stands out as one of my favourites.

I'm utterly thrilled with the new MOTUC version, especially since they're not including any of the Millennial features like snake-head-hands and the flatter face. But I know there are those who are disappointed by this. Do you think someone at Shapeways will step up to the challenge?

I'm pretty happy w/ how he looks thus far. I'm glad that they sided with the vintage headsculpt rather than the 200x features. The Snake Men were all kick ass, so it's hard to say who was my favorite --- I think ultimately Sssqueeze was because of his colors, he just really stood out to me.

There's already a shapeways vendor with snake head hands. [smile] those dudes work fast. The head i think would be more suited to a third partier, the shapeways head as I've seen are, granted all from the same vendor, but they kind of suck out loud.

Just opened my e-mail for the first time in a couple of weeks (Really? Has time gone THAT quickly?), and the shipping on my two subs this month came to ALMOST $75!!!

How the Hells does that work out?!!

Wait, $75 for two subs? Really? Where is the package being shipped to, and what method are you shipping? Mine was $14.29 for one with the standard shipping.

England, via International Mail. Never been that high before.

are you factoring in that multi-bots' boxes are almost twice the size of the standard box? so it will require a packing box both heavier than normal, and larger in... girth units. whatever.

Multi-Bot is the one screwing around with the shipping costs...

On Squeeze... I kinda wish he had a 200X Head... I can live without the Claw-Snake-head-hands, but that muppet croc head... meh!

Here's the thing: I ordered three more Multi-Bots day-of. And shipping for those worked out to less than half that!
