it's not at all your fault, they've been REALLY quiet about terry's character. i can only think of a handful of passing mentions guanabana. likely, to try to manage expectations better than did for sir laserlot (and honestly, i think the near complete backlash scott took against spector also surprised him in an unpleasant way) so they've been fairly mum about terry's fig to keep fans from chewing off their own legs.

honestly, i want another cool villain. not only because i think we're villain starved, but w/ SLT's bio, we need another powerhouse on the baddies side. i'll take an independant but i think i'd prefer to expand the horde or snake men rosters more. skeletor's crew feels more "set in stone" to me, since they were and are the standard... and since thanks to NA, skeletor technically has two rosters of guys under his command.

Mostly agreed, I think. Its a catch-22... Personally I don't think we need more of Skeletor's villains. I also don't think we need another generic hero that'll just blend right in and get lost in the shuffle. "Neutral' characters a la Zodac or Faceless One are usually just so vanilla...

I'd rather see someone who walks a fine line between good and evil. A character who has motives and simply allies himself with whomever he believes he needs to as a means to and end. Thats mostly how I imagine Draego Man right now.

Otherwise, where does that leave us? Space Mutants, Snake Men, and Horde.

I'm trying to imagine a character that could fit within the confines of using as much pre-existing tooling as possible with the exception of maybe the head, a weapon and a piece of armor.

I was just thinking --- if someone was so inclined and had the technological knowhow --- they could create some sort of "create a character" program using all of the known and pre-existing MOTUC parts. You could define certain parameters, i.e. male/female, good/evil, human/robotic/humanoid/mutant, etc. Could even just have it completely random.

I realize the year is still young and we did get a pretty neat 30th Sub Line, but is anyone else a little disappointed by what Matty is doing for the 30th Anniversary? I was kind of hoping for something more.

well, we're getting three different comics... that's honestly more than i expected.

in a dream world though, yes, there'd be some multi-media adaptations, and we'd be knee deep right now in cosplay chicks, video games, mobile aps, cooking out w/ "man at coals" charcoal, toys in every store, skelekicks on my feet, and bringing it all home in our new chevy He-Van. oh, and a variety show on adult swim called "eternian lifestyles"

Thats true... I didn't consider the minicomics --- I honestly don't know what I was expecting.

I would love to see some licensed merch --- the business card holder and letter opener are nice. i think what i need me is a he-man t-shirt.

has anyone ever made t-shirts with he-man and skeletor's harnesses? that would be awesome.

i'd also like to know when they're going to get on the ball and start selling off prints of the classic poster/box art.

i thought there were harness shirts somewhere... i could be wrong though.

i would love clothing w/ the vintage box art though... LOVE IT! and if they were doing new box art (like they teased us w/ on the wind raider) i'd love to see on some gear too.

I would have liked Sir Lazerlot if he didn't have that energy mane on his helmet. I would pop that head off and put on a spare head on the body like one of Bow's heads or maybe Icarius's Kilmer head.
