see, i love the 200x characters, but i freely admit, their design aesthetic is just too different from what classics is trying to do. like i had said earlier, we have 4 versions of king grayskull now, a 200x character interpreted through the classics lens... the only way they entice me at this point is a giant scale version, taking the 200x scale and applying it to the classics formula. the heads are not enough difference to entice me, save snout spout, and like i said, i suspect easy access on that one. and if not, it won't offend me at all to miss it.

i keep waiting here to see beedo come chirping in about awesome the sub is. [smile] cuz he will, we're just bitter old farts. i will say, if you're still in the completist mode for motuc, this sub has to be a breath of fresh air to get some of those exclusive characters added to an already impressive roster.

I wonder if they will put up the thermometer like they have done before. Without TG to champion sub, if they don't get enough subscriptions, will it go the way of the MOTU minis?

I kind of have a laissez-faire attitude towards it this time. If it happens, it happens, if not, c'est la vie. Tholugh I'm sure if at this point they have Calix, Evilseed, and Ceratus already tooled out, not to mention the head-pack, they'll just go forward with it.

Long time no see, MKU! Good to see you back! You been okay?

And, man, that is a nice Lion-O.

Enh, I'm hanging in there, mate. What with one thing and another, my customising's stalled, with a lot of unfinished projects. Doesn't help that the Games Workshop in town closed down, the nearest one being 25 miles away. I can order them online, but I've got to budget for a new bed and all sorts of big things over the next couple of years, so finances may not allow it for a bit.

Looks great! All we wanted was a 7" Lion-O in scale with MOTUC --- was that too much to ask?

Do you have a facebook page we could like? Or is it on your personal page?
