I think the official name is lame, don't care for the merging with Keldor idea at all, so I refuse to call him by that name.

Instead, I call him what he is: Mark Taylor Concept Villain

i posted a suggestion for an alternate name... but honestly, i'm thinking doing another "in-BIO-tween" for him as a totally different character idea... 'yust for fun.

I’ll admit, I’m not a huge fan of the idea of Keldor being merged with Demo-Man. But then again I still haven’t completely warmed up to Keldor being Skeletor. I think it works well in the 200x or mini-comic continuities but I don’t know if there’s place for that in mine. Still, I am looking forward to Demo-Man (which I pronounce like demon, I forget what the “official” take on that is). He’ll have a place on my shelf right next to Cona, er, Vikor and all the rest of the oddballs.

AFI has their sample up in the archive:

He looks a lot more neon green, but the folks that were at SDCC say he was always this bright (and indeed saturation tends to be an issue with SDCC pics).

I mentioned it over at TNI, but I can't believe how little info there is of Demo-Man in his bio.

Its basically all about Skeletor, and then they throw him in there. They could have run wild with this. Who is he? Where did he come from? What were his hopes and his dreams? What was his favorite color (neon-lime green obv.)!

At least the Bio is not wasted on his sexuality, like Bow's... Seriously, he's NOT gay!
Yes I hate Demo-Man's Bio, due to the lack of info on mr. not-full-version-Man almost as much as Bow's Bio...

i have really mixed feelings on that bright green paint job... on the one hand, i get it, he's a demon, he can be any color and motuc is kind of known for bright primary colors... but the paint job seems to hide a lot of details especially in the beard and face... that's never a good choice, to hide a sculptor's work under inferior paint.

I imagined that scene from Robocop where he's surrounded by the kids at a school, except with Demo-Man being the center of their attention.

I think we should wait and see what he looks like in hand...he does look pretty bright in this pic but the one at NYCC was not nearly as bright and looked pretty gd awesome

Color-wise, this is one of the reasons that I am unsure that "spotlight" pics should be taken on a white background with good lighting.
Just as in one of my films, where I can make a woman look like the most stunning femme fatale you've ever seen with some makeup and lighting, the figures don't always come across in these types of pics like they do in real life - which is why most of the pics on my blog are "I took a figure and shot it in front of 30 other figures."

I didn't take any pics of Demo Man at SDCC or NYCC this year, so I can't show you any of my style pics. But he is pretty green. [smile]
