Wave 16 (Bane) Thread

Bane does look pretty good. I'm excited for this wave more and more, but I could use it not showing up for 3-4 more weeks and that's seemingly unlikely.

It's silly but I think I'm looking forward to that Riddler most.

Found the wave at my comic shop yesterday. The paint quality looks better than wave 15 and GLC wave 1 so far. Didn't pick any of them up as I picked up All-Stars Deathstroke. They had Joker as well but the paint was very sloppy on him. I'll try to pick up wave 16 when I can because they look awesome.

Picked up Riddler today. VAST improvement over the Wave 5 pinhead version. It's nice to get a DCUC figure out of the package that didn't have a stuck or loose joint or something messy for once.

Robin looks to be a very nice figure too, but he wasn't available individually and I didn't have the funds to get the whole wave.

A personal nitpick, though: This version of Riddler is TALL, and he looks more buff than he really is. Standing straight up, he's taller than Bats and Supes (and most of the standard DCUC figures). I think it's because they enlarged the head, as in the case with some of the newer figures, and the head seems to sit a bit higher on the neck, thus giving him a bit of extra height. In my mind the Riddler is supposed to be a scrawny guy, no way is he bigger than Batman, let alone Superman.

By himself the Riddler looks great, but I'm a stickler for scale. I am actually on the fence whether to return him or not...

I wouldn't be surprised if the double knee joints are adding some height too

Actually, Riddler doesn't have any double joints. Some of the other figures get double-joints in this wave, but not poor Riddler; he is just a run-of-the-mill DCUC.

I didn't realize that. I thought it was only Hex who didn't get the double joints.

His height is definitely odd then.

BBTS is suppose to get these in today and I've been hiding $100 from myself to be able to pick 'em up. I'm excited at the prospect of having these in soon!
