About the official release date of the 2013 ML wave...

Postby kingflame81 » Thu Jan 17, 2013 8:05 pm

Who knows when the official release date of these figures are? When might they appear on retail toy shelves?
I know they're supposed to come in the spring, so what March, late-March, April?

Depends on when the spring resets hit. I have yet to see anything at retail beyond the Wave 2 repack cases (that include wave 1 figures).

I think it's going to be a long and hard year for the non-movie marvel lines.

Mainly seen wave 3 here but recently a bunch of rehashes hit. Think being used as filler till 2013 wave 1 hits a my local stores. Have seen the Iron Man 3 MLs and have picked up Iron Patriot. (Needs a Norman Osborn head badly)

Monger is gonna be fun to make.

Bleeding Edge (heroic age, that name is stupid, it's bleeding edge) Ironman is AWESOME!

Yeah, that I get. I got him cause I'm not getting any of the regular ML releases. I'm a Stark guy.

Bleeding Edge is a pretty stupid name, too, because the armor's already obsolete. At least "Heroic Age" associates it with the era of comics where it was featured. Both are better than when the 4" version was called the "Modular Armor," though.

But, yes, awesome figure. The only problem I have is that the left knee on mine is weak, and the figure had been leanign further and further for as long as I've had it. I finally gave up and posed him in the three point landing stance, which the figure pulls off pretty well.

My Iron Monger pieces are still up in Wisconsin at BBTS. I wish some June stuff would hit so I could ship that POL!
