Found the She-Hulk wave at Fred Meyer (Kroger's affiliate). Picked the one with good face paint, but a messed up costume. Also grabbed FF Spidey to complete the team.

No Kang, sadly.

The awful distribution has put these on the very back burner for me too.

I've seen the She-Hulk wave a couple times, but still no luck on the Beta Ray Bill wave whatsoever. :-x

Apparently Prof X and Jubilee are hitting shelves, as evinced by the scalper sales on eBay.

These are fun 'n all, but unless Toy Fair has something up its sleeve, I might be ready to call it a day with MU.

This is a look back at Toybiz's Superhero Showdown Line, I've split this one into 4 parts covering a the few I still own, good bad and ungly so enjoy this look back and an attempt to pull back some myths about this legendary line.

Part one deals with several comparisons to MU and the Fantastic Four. Enjoy

Cool overviews on the SHS's!

I have several of them mixed in with my MU/Marvel 4" stuff, and some (like Thing) are definitely still awesome and better than anything MU has offered.

That SHS Cap though . . . ouch.

I agree on cap, However I do believe if the line had continued there would have been a 1000 times better cap very soon.

Part 3 has Mole Man (yes that's right), Spider-Man (Red and blue and black costumes), Doc Ock, Green Goblin and of course VENOM!

http://www.zedsjoesite.com/review/shs/shs4.html

Saving the best for last Part 4 has Beast, Colossus, and Thor.

Sorry for the delays on these final parts. Computer issues got in the way and to be 100% honest I thought at one point I had lost these. Enjoy.

So leading into Toyfair after finishing up my Favorite 1;18th figures of 2012 ( http://www.zedsjoesite.com/favorite/fav2012/20121.html shameless plug) I figured I would wrap up the week with the latest Marvel Universe wave of figures.

This time around I look at Herc, Angel, Nighthawk, Nova, and Puck.

Marvel universe continues to be the worst stocked line in my entire metro area. Then Hasbro does something baffling like repacking Falcon and Silver Surfer with new waves.
