and best of all, it's the biggie beefy bad boys, my favorite class of toys!! i'd DROOLING to have that big mean SOB running between the abom and hulk and pummeling both as he passes like a wake made of fists.

Oh man, that Juggy is soooooo mine!!!

That will put a wonderful end to my occasional glancing at eBay to try to find a cheap ML version.

nice... that second option seems odd. for one, was the engineering of a removable helmet so pricey that an alternate head seemed the answer? also, why is the two pack more than the price of two figures? if that doesn't dissuade sales, i just don't understand my fellow toy geeks. oh well.

of course, wasn't the still-unreleased abom originally solicited for last nov? so we won't actually see juggy till next year?

I don't understand MS schedule, I just order my stuff.

The MU juggernaut's head and helmet are one piece also. I'm not sure for their reason, but I guess the fit is right and you don't have to worry about wearing out the head or helmet buy constantly taking it off.

DST is like DCD and Sideshow. They announce products and then wait until there are enough pre-orders before they go to production. If Juggy gets more pre-orders faster than abom, he will get released first and the other pushed back.
Choose the things to fill your mind or the world will fill it for you.

that seems bass-ackwards to me... how do they manage the costs of prototype development if they don't know ahead of time whether or not they're even going into production?

They probably can judge based on past sales of that "type" of item what kind of demand they can expect and how to budget accordingly.

This is why lines can be dropped so unceremoniously as well, like Sideshow abandoning 1/6 LotR before releasing Gimli, Merry, Pippin, etc.

I don't have a problem with no removable helm on Juggs, I personally didn't care for the head sculpt on the ML one and if I had ever tracked it down would likely have never removed it.

I did have a pretty cool older Toy Biz Juggernaut that although kinda ridiculously proportioned, I liked quite a bit at the time, and had fun with his removable helmet.

Also, I do think it's fitting that ML has moved more towards making characters that will still be compatible with ML collections and won't be too noticeably oversized, like Juggy, Abom, Hulk, and so on.
