well, i figured that's what you were after... but is true. i missed the xevoz crypt curse too... course, i missed a number of xevoz from that last wave or two of product... i'd still love to lay hands on the crypt curse, the hyper guardian and frankenpunker. alas, i will not pay the secondary mark-up.

I have all the Xevoz... somewhere.

The Gunslinger is still my favorite. Are those "Secondary markups" still out there? I thought most people didn't care about Xevoz anymore.

you're kidding right? do you remember several months back mentioning that you'd gotten a nice page bump when you did the xevoz article? check ebay man, they aren't going for hella cash, but they are pretty much across the board, going for more than retail... and some, like the aforementioned hyper guardian, and never up for long.

There's a few that still command the big money, but not like in their heyday, y'know?

It's finalized enough to announce - we'll have our Mel Birnkrant interview up next week, likely Monday! He was gracious enough to answer our questions as well as send along a never before seen photo of the original OSM! And, if we get approval, we'll have another never before seen pic for you as well...

If you havn't hit the front page then check it out. Great interview and some solid information. I love hearing Mel's memories. I hope he considers showing up at a con next year (Other then SDCC), I would love to just sit and listen to him talk.

That was a fun interview. Heck, just e-mailing back and forth is pretty fun. Have you guys checked out his site lately? He added a new section for the Trash Bag Bunch. It was a real blast from the past: http://melbirnkrant.com/trash/

Here's another photo Mel shared, but I had to crop it to fit it into the interview:

I do want to get them all I think, but if I had to, I could probably just be satisfied with him alone.

Totally rad.
