It was made public today that the largest New Mexico film studio has leased all of it's sound stages to Marvel Studios for six months starting in April for the principle filming of The Avengers. It seams that Marvel got a good vibe well doing shoots for Thor, and Iron Man that they will base the films main unit here in Albuquerque. I got the first ideas that this would be the case when a production company called Advanced Idea Productions started doing location hunting

We've had a 'local' company been around 15 years thats called Sky Walking Industries. They do special effects and dabble in computer graphics and game design. Every one knows they are a front for Lucas Arts but this is New Mexico. Usually takes two weeks for news to reach the rest of the country

word... that dude must be a god damned sage. [smile] the cool thing is though, for the fanboys, the only people who would get it, that's an awesome nod. like mega mondo awesome aoli on a pile of crispy handmade gnarly noodles on a mangosteen A fiddlehead and fennel salad.

This is SO girly, but I LOVED Tangled. Rapunzel is my new favorite Princess (sorry Belle - who's nerdiness and not-fitting-in spoke to me as a tween/teen). I could actually see the 3D this time (now that I have a contacticle).

Noisy said I act like her... mebbe that's why? [green]

We watched Despicable Me. It was cute and fun. What else did we... OH! Eclipse with Rifftrax. My God, I don't know how people sit through those Twilight movies without people making fun in the background.
Also restarted the tradition of watching Home Alone every Christmas. It's about time it was resurrected.
Brock: Honestly, Hank, where do you pick that stuff up? I never see you read!
Dean: It's weird, right?

We used to watch it every Christmas and E.T. on Thanksgiving. :) A few years ago it became O' Brother! on Thanksgiving but in the past few years it's been football or something. :p
