The Other Guys was the funniest movie I've seen since Hot Fuzz.
Has anyone seen Son of Rambow? I love that thing. :)
Brock: Honestly, Hank, where do you pick that stuff up? I never see you read!
Dean: It's weird, right?
Brock: It's like he channels dead crazy people!

Yeah, for me Hot Fuzz was more good/clever than funny.

Hot Fuzz is clever, but good lord do I laugh at that movie. I mean it could be I'm attuned to the brit humor so there are things I find funny that others don't, but I laugh a lot when I watch it.

attuned to the brit humor eh? i don't know man, i laughed at the python, i laugh at are you being served, i love billy connelly, craig ferguson, eddie izzard... so i consider myself fairly in the place... and still didn't think this was LOL funny. then again, i didn't laugh at shaun of the dead either, even though i enjoyed that a lot. some folks found that movie hilarious... not i.

that said, at wedding crashers, i almost peed i was laughing so hard... some might say that was overreaction.

I do literally laugh at Hot Fuzz. Don't really know why, but I'm big on British humor, too. I love me some Pratchett and some Jane Austen. :P
I found Wedding Crasher funny, but I'm more of an "I love you, Man" fan. I thought the Other Guys was just freaking brilliant and ridiculously funny. I don't know. I laugh at a lot of stupid things and I have an odd sense of humor. I think I find some things funny that others don't. <-- case in point

buddy of mine rented "scott pilgrim" and got about halfway through before calling it a day... methinks i'll do the total pass.

BTW, have i advocated for you folks why robert rodriguez needs a toyline? between planet terror, machete, and the mariachi trilogy, i could literally mexiconvert my collection. his worlds are just so friggin FUN! and really, we need a mariachi video game... cuz shooters are fun... but tripping a guy running into a room w/ a body you've just shot in a spiral across the floor? that's cool. Mexicool.
