Would Nolan be so cruel as to cast Anne as Selina and then never put her in a skin tight 'Cat Suit'? This has already been announced as the last Nolan Bat film so I just don't see it happening but why announce the casting as Selina and not as Catwomen?

the first thing i saw this morning on msn did say selina kyle/catwoman...

Yes every news agency has done that but the official WB press release only mentions Selina, never once is the word Catwomen used.

well likely, they'd use the singular... silly goose.

i suppose it's possible that she won't show up as catwoman, or that could be a clever swerve to keep fan interest... i find it next ot inconceivable that nolan would employ someone w/ anne's assets and NOT put her in a skin tight catsuit... maybe not michelle pfeiffer tight, but no doubt something that looks more tactical, while lifting and separating. A friend of mine saw Green Hornet and gave it the "thumbs down". Any bashing here to corroborate that review?

Not yet. Having a fondness for the old show, Noisy refuses to pay to see it and Vault and I haven't decided to spend our precious movie certificates on it or not. I've heard mixed things about it.
Brock: Honestly, Hank, where do you pick that stuff up? I never see you read!
Dean: It's weird, right?
Brock: It's like he channels dead crazy people!

I'm pretty anti-Rogen myself.

I guess you could substitute "anti-Apatow" in there.

Shame, because I dig most of Gondry's work.

yup, i got conned into watching 40YOV and after being successfully revived after swallowing my own tongue, i went on a twelve state killing rampage. i then devoured my friend, sculpted the feces into a new friend, and never took his advice on film again.

*Authorities contacted.*

But yeah, I could definitely see that.

I dunno, it's just annoying that what so many people consider "comedy" usually isn't funny to me in the slightest.

But then again, my idea of comedy is jokes, and the jokes coming at you so fast you might miss a few variety, so yeah, comedy for me is Looney Tunes, Tex Avery, Marx Brothers, Mel Brooks, Python, ZAZ, classic Simpsons, etc.

Most "comedy" movies today are just cheesy dramas with a few failed attempts to gross-out sitting in as the "funny" parts of the movie.

in trying to think of the last really funny comedy i saw, it's tough... i've seen lots of movies i've laughed at, but it's usually a circumstantial funny cuz i identify w/ the plight of the on-screen protagonists... i love you man was a fine example of that. but laughing at actual jokes... i can't recall.

but then, i'm not that hung up on actual jokes. funny occasions or moments work fine for me, so like wedding crashers, harold and kumar (which had a few actual jokes in there too) or i love you man were fine by me. the NPH character for roldy and kumar was not only the rebirth of the real NPH's career, but some of the funniest juxtaposition of expectation i've seen maybe ever.
