I don’t buy a lot of Star Wars figures usually. I love Star Wars, but I’m just not as invested in it toy-wise like I am with DC or MOTU. But every once in a while I’m impressed by a figure so much that I just have to own it, and this Grievous figure is awesome!
Though I took a pass on the Series IV figures, I knew I wasn't done with DC Direct's Blackest Night line. I've been tempted, but steered clear of picking up a Black Lantern JLA. I'm sticking to the oversized aliens not likely to get DCUC love. Nekron offers some flexibility with his size and I've opted to pick up DCD's version.
With my newfound love of Steven Moffat’s Doctor Who, it was only a matter of time before my toy collecting started trending that way also. What better way to celebrate and support what you love than by buying small plastic totems? Thus: my purchase of the Eleventh Doctor and new Dalek two-pack.
Another round of Most Requested is over. The selected reader requests were placed in a head-to-head vote and with nearly 2000 votes cast, the finalists going on to December have been decided. Which requests fell on deaf ears? Which requests will join our Round One winners? It's time to find out.
We picked up the TRU Flash a few weeks ago, but I've been putting off his review. I just find that I don't have a lot to say about him. Still, he needs his DCClassics.Com entry and so we're giving him a pint-size review. Four pics, a few paragraphs, and everything you need to know about CherryBarry.
On a recent outing to Wal-Mart, I was surprised to discover a second wave of How to Train Your Dragon figures. Although this series contained mostly repainted versions of the previous dragons, I was stunned to see a newly sculpted Toothless figure. But would he be better than their last attempt?
Some of you might have noticed that we were a little light on the updates last week. There were a couple family birthdays and some crazy wedding preperation adventures, but mostly, I was neck deep in photographing all of my DC Classics and coding CSS/HTML for the biggest updates to our checklists yet.
